White Tailed Deer Hunt
Here in the highlands our deer herd is very strong as compared to a lot of other areas in Maine. In Willimantic, just about every year we get that one big one - 275 to 300 lbs. I have a lot of very good areas scouted out to help your chances of getting the big one. Our hunting is pretty straight forward - in before dawn - out for lunch if you please - and back hunting until dark. All hunters are equipped with radios to call in when a deer is harvested. I will escort you to and from your blind each day, field dress, haul your deer to the tagging station and to butcher and taxidermist , if desired.
